i saw abingdon play ph..nothing impressed me except the opening drive..then they kinda went flat.your qb is young and when in trouble will throw a pick here and there..but i think it will be closer than ya think.still gotta say the blues gotcha by a c hair.lol

gw has somehow always kept enrollment down but somehow their town is bigger and more population than marion?i just am confused..other teams in the past have done the samething.as far as bragging..i think someone said.."fort chiswell will be a good tune up for gw"..last i checked fort chiswell had improved..never take a team to lightly.or throw your helmet.lol..i think tazwell knows what i mean..

i think graham gets respect because they have been loaded but because richlands and other surrounding schools have gotten better kids are going to those schools.graham's numbers are down and so is their football program.yes,they are right in the middle of things but don't you think this team really isn't what you are use to seeing from a school of their caliber.marion has been bad and maybe our time is coming.things change.graham fans never really bothered me they were just always better than us.but can't marion fans show alil support when finally we get alil better?

i think graham's gb will be there weakness..he is very poor under pressure.i do think we have more speed than last yr when we beat them in the playoffs.but,yes it will be a close one i think.

as i said before..i'm done with talking about other schools.holston deserves a good run.i really think if they get the ph game under there belt they will do very nicely..to say they will win it all might be a stretch.

marion really tried not to expose there whole offense to graham.i sat beside the scouts and it looked like they wrote everytime a marion player took a breathe.lol..we can score really fast but i''ll be alil more comfy if we can beat graham..so i'm not gonna shoot my mouth off like others.we pretty good..but we can always improve.by the way,do you know if holston has ever beat ph..it says they did on hogo.com but man..i really think that's wrong?trying to get the correct info

ok,here we go..marion has beat abingdon 6 out of the last 8 yrs..i have seen u guys be so good then get beat by teams you shouldn't.but still are always ranked in the top every pre-season.i'll be honest and i know this will sturr things up but..when is the last time abingdon had a team that would knock your head off?last yr henderson got layed out by tommy lyons and was never the same.so no..i'm not on your bandwagon,i was just making a point that the swd was open to more than just 2 teams..was being nice but gosh you guys seem to never be happy.

king,i think another single a team up till maybe this year could have won just about any district they were in and that's giles.man,that was a great team but i think they might have final lost a step.honestly,i'm going out on a limb here.chilhowie isn't the only good single a team around here.those cavs from damascus might be the real deal this yr.if they beat ph it might be on.the rivalry of the year i think.i love my canes but on that night i'm a cav..that place will be nuts..i just got told by a friend that extra county cops are on duty just for that.

no,coach web was there then.i know richie thomas and he never coached there.i also phoned my uncle who played for holston in the early 80's and is a die hard cav fan.he said they never even beat them in scrimmages.come to think of it my cousin played for ph when crutchfield was there and i remember him scoring 1 or 2 tds against holston.like i said i got family everywhere in washington county..i just happen to be lucky and be in smyth county..lol

i'm from marion and went to school there but my family is from around damascus va.i grew up going to both school's games when i could.do you think if they beat ph this yr they may go pretty far?they have never beat ph as fas as i know.

i caught the end of the game..i dropped my jaw when i heard the score..trying not to get excited here but richlands went down now graham..what the heck is going on.yes,it would be crazy to see tazwell and marion..don't forget abingdon..gosh,i'm just speechless.honestly,i see the tide changing.we have good players around interstate 81.

i gotta agree with cpf.i was raised in marion and got laughed at by many teams who were on top.one of those teams was richlands.i was in the press box with sum friends filming the game when a richlands fan came over and told the time keeper he had to many secs showin..they had us beat 42-3 in the forth quater..come on..show sum class.we have had our butt handed to us on a platter many times so when we have good seasons,i do show my pride and when we are losin i still watch most of the games even though it sucks.just gotta remember these kids play to have fun and win.it's not just about the ppl in the stands.i played football and i wasn't the greatest but it was fun while it lasted.this is the best time of their life.we forget that as adults.

no offense but that didn't make up for the last 2 yrs of holding and complaning about the same arm.yes,it was a very good pick but his dad needs to tape up his arm and tell him to suck it up.one thing i didn't see tonight and i was smiling.no attitudes coming on and off the field.they done what needed to be done as a team..we growin and it shows.that first drive in my opinoin might be one of the best drives i've saw not only on a marion team but from any school around here.nothing fancy just plain ole running.i smiled when the graham scouts were saying"did they run the off set I against us?where did this come from".it seems to be something we can do very well.almost like a wishbone.i was just impressed..the blocking was pretty good.once again we gotta strap on our hats and welcome in the g-men.i was gonna go watch another game but i found out it was graham and marion were playin this comin fri and it was in marion..i'd be crazy to miss this.on a quick note..congrats to holston.my family are from down that way and i usual go to a few of there games.they may be the real deal this yr.i'll keep an eye on the cavs.GO CANES
