I agree with cityofRaven. Use 12 teams and let the top 4 have a bye (at least in the smaller Divisions of A and AA). I haven't seen the stats but I don't think there have been many (if any) 13 or below winners in the A or AA playoffs.

If the Richlands team that lost to Abingdon shows up, GC will kill them. If the Richlands team that throttled Marion shows up, it should be a great game. Going with the home team in this one. GC by 1 point.

I can't get the quote thing to work but biggreen, this may answer your question as to when Briscoe quit. From what I heard, Lee and Briscoe had an animated conversation before practice Monday. Briscoe left and did not go to practice and Lee coached the line during practice. The next day (Tuesday) Lee was gone and Briscoe was back at practice.
