Beamerball 566 Report Share Posted May 13, 2010 (edited) This is what I could come up with (as of last night's games). Overall rec's are probably off some, but district records should be close to being accurate. BASEBALL Black Diamond District Honaker 7-0; 18-0 Haysi 4-2; 7-7 Council 2-3; 2-10 Hurley 1-4; 3-8 Twin Valley 0-5; 0-12 **Hurley @ Council, ??? Clinch Mountain District Virginia High 6-0; 10-6 Gate City 4-1; 14-3 Lebanon 2-4; 4-7 John Battle 1-4; 6-10 Lee High 1-5; 4-14 Lonesome Pine District Powell Valley 8-0; 13-4 J.J. Kelly 7-2; 15-3 J.I. Burton 3-4; 9-5 Pound 3-6; 8-7-1 Clintwood 2-4; 5-7 Appalachia 0-6; 4-8 I believe St. Paul and Twin Springs are at the top of the Cumberland District with one lor two losses...TS beat St. Paul the other night, but I think they also had a game against each other at Twin Springs scheduled back in the middle of April. Not sure if that was played or not. SOFTBALL Black Diamond Honaker 1-0; 7-6 Haysi 0-1; 5-9 Clinch Mountain Virginia High 5-0; 13-3 Lebanon 4-2; 6-6 John Battle 2-3; 8-9 Gate City 2-4; 5-12 Lee High 1-5; 7-10 Lonesome Pine Powell Valley 7-0; 17-0 J.I. Burton 4-3; 10-5 J.J. Kelly 3-3; 4-12 Clintwood 4-4; 10-6 Appalachia 2-4; 7-7 Pound 0-6; 1-10 Too many outcomes missing as in baseball and haven't seen any district standings from any of the papers or anything but Coeburn is leading the Cumberland District in softball, think they are undefeated in the district with 4 losses overall (all against out-of-state teams in tournament action). Beamerball 566 Report Share Posted May 23, 2010 (edited) Again, best I could come up for the final standings with only seeing a few records and not seeing any standings. Overall's for some (outside of the CMD) may be off just a little... BASEBALL Clinch Mountain District Virginia High 8-1; 13-8* Gate City 7-2; 17-4* John Battle 3-5; 8-11 Lebanon 2-6; 4-10 Lee High 1-7; 4-18 *Virginia High wins one game play-off to determine #1 seed Lonesome Pine Powell Valley 10-0; 15-5* J.J. Kelly 8-2; 17-3 J.I. Burton 6-4; 12-7 Pound 4-6; 9-7-1 Clintwood 3-7; 6-10 Appalachia 0-10; 4-10 Cumberland St. Paul 11-1; 16-4* Coeburn 10-2; 16-4 Twin Springs 9-3; 14-4 Castlewood 4-8; 5-13 Rye Cove 4-8; 6-13-1 Thomas Walker 4-8; 6-11 Ervinton 0-11; 2-14 Black Diamond Honaker 8-0; 20-0* Haysi 5-3; 8-9 Council 4-4; 4-11 Hurley 3-5; 6-10 Twin Valley 0-7; 0-18 SOFTBALL Clinch Mountain Virginia High 7-1; 16-4* Gate City 4-4; 7-12 Lebanon 4-4; 6-10 John Battle 3-5; 9-11 Lee High 2-6; 9-11 Lonesome Pine Powell Valley 10-0; 20-0* J.I. Burton 7-3; 14-6 J.J. Kelly 5-5; 7-13 Appalachia 4-5; 11-8 Clintwood 3-6; 9-9 Pound 0-10; 1-17 *Clintwood @ Appalachia ??? Cumberland 1. Coeburn 12-0; 16-4* 2. Rye Cove 3. Castlewood 4. Ervinton 5. St. Paul 6. Thomas Walker 7. Twin Springs *Not sure about the Cumberland softball standings, other than Coeburn's record, but I think this may have been the finishing order. Black Diamond Honaker 2-0; 8-6* Haysi 0-2; 5-11 Edited June 4, 2010 by Beamerball
hhstigerfan 12 Report Share Posted May 24, 2010 beamer ball do you know what the region brackets are supposed to be in Region D baseball tourney this year and where the semi-finals/finals are being played?
Beamerball 566 Report Share Posted May 24, 2010 Per posts on the CMD board its at Coeburn and CMD #1 vs. LPD #2 and BDD #1 vs. CD #2 in one bracket and then LPD #1 vs. CMD #2 and CD #1 vs. BDD #2 in the other.
