This is an incredible story of selflessness and sportsmanship. If only there were more people like this coach and these fans in this world.

This is what it's all about--showing the love of Christ---

 

When I saw the title of this thread "A Football Game Gives Hope," immediately the following verse came to mind and I think it is so appropriate.

 

 

Proverbs 13:12-- Hope deferred makes the heart sick,

but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

 

A community, a school, showed that hope, though delayed for these young men (by their own choices and decisions)---can come and with it bring life. I pray that many of these young mens lives, were forever changed by what they witnessed that night.

That was fantastic ! The coach from faith is a class act and so were the fans ! That's what life should really be all about. So many want to give up on young men like that, but with a little love help and understanding and faith in the lord they can turn their life around !
