I like Marco Rubio with Jeb Bush not to far behind

In the few times I have heard Mr. Rubio he has given answers to the questions asked--not one-liners.  I think he has the potential, youth and experience to hopefully bring this nation back on course.

I haven't chosen yet but a guy I really like is Dr. Ben Carson. His inexperience as a politician may hurt him soon but he certainly excited several Americans during the last debate. While the pundits talked about Kasich, Trump, Fiorina, Bush, etc it was Carson who gained the most social media followers afterwards.

The Doctor impresses me as the smartest man on stage.  I think their afraid to give him to much time because the man just might take away some of the establishments  candidate numbers. Felt like I heard Jeb answer ever question asked while their were 4 or 5 who only got to answer a few.

Have to feel like Karl Rove wrote some of those questions.

We got to find somebody who wants to be there for the love of country, liberty, freedom and justice.  The lobbyist backed establishments on both sides have bleed us to death and sent our middle class jobs out of the country.

I believe that Carson is so hyper-intelligent that he comes off as hesitant and unpolished when he's simply working to "dumb down" what he says to reach his audience.

I can't wait for the black commumity to start ramping up the "Uncle Tom" comments en masse.

I like different things about some of the candidates.  It's going to be tough to get it narrowed down to just one.  If that one isn't Trump, does he still run as an independent just like Perot did?  I wouldn't put it passed his ego to do that.  I thing that Carson and Fiorina are showing very strong and I'm excited to see how they'll do down the road.  I wouldn't be disappointed with either of those two right now if they became president.

I like Walker but have really started paying attention in the last few weeks.  That being said, Cruz/Carson would be a solid ticket, IMHO.  Cruz and Carson are both incredibly intelligent and actually believe what they say.

Im looking forward to hearing more from Fiorina.  Just for the sake of electoral votes if they could talk Kasich into being a VP candidate and have Bush or Rubio as the presidential candidate it would have the Republican party off to a good start.  Putting themselves in favorable position in Ohio and Florida is a nice start, while Rubio and Bush have a chance of snagging some latino vote that may help pull New Mexico and Colorado that went Obamas way in the last election.

Im a Rand Paul guy. I despise Trump, nothing more than a blow hard.

"Im gonna fix America"

Thats great but how?

"create jobs and  secure the border"

Great! but how?

"they dont like me"

Ok... but how is that relevant?

"theyre idiots"

Ok I think were done here

"America"

Pretty much any speech Trump has ever given.

I want to see Carson involved more in politics. I think in 8 years he would make a very good president.

If the Republican candidate is for getting rid of the

1- EPA

2- Amnesty and sanctuary cities

3- ISIS

I could list several more things but especially those. I would be willing to vote for them. I do like Rubio, Walker ,Carson and Cruz

I wish there was some way to let Gman get his HAMMER out and use it on.......Pelosi and Reid

One of the main reasons I cant get behind Cruz or anyone else that stands there before a national audience and goes " On day 1 Im gonna do this.  On day 2 Im gonna do this.  On day 3 Im gonna do this..etc etc etc."    First, if it was that easy, do it all on Day 1.  Second, well your obviously just blowing smoke, and its too warm for a fire right now.

Allen Dershowitz called Cruz one of the, if not the, most intelligent law student he ever had.  That is quite the compliment coming from a very left  of center law professor.  Carson's intelligence is unquestioned.  I find it telling that these uber intelligent people are conservative.

Regardless of who gets the nod, I hope he/she has the wherewithal to actually stand up to the left and right this ship.  Reagan did it against incredible odds so there is hope!

I am very disappointed in the people who have "itching ears" who are backing the Trump candidacy.  A man who is all bravado, insults those who question him and continues to rise in the polls.  Where is common sense, where is logic?  It seemingly has been replaced by people who want words without wisdom or direction, no substance to his rhetoric.

Even more disheartening for me, are "evangelicals" who are supporting him.  I am very sadden  by what I see unfolding, a nation adrift without a Godly compass.

Great points about the evangelical disconnect.

The Republican candidates screwed the GOP hard. A candidate like Trump would never gather a majority of votes at a primary, and almost never at a caucus. However, 30% is much more attainable. Candidates like Christie, Paul, Fiorina, etc. who never had a snowball's chance crippled electable candidates like Rubio by staying in and cultivating their tiny, insignificant bases. In the land of 5%, the 30% man is king.

Trump will be the nominee, and Hillary may literally win every state that didn't once secede from the Union (and even some who did). And you have about a dozen jaded "party leaders" to thank.

Im so afraid you are 100% correct UVAO.  I am going to have to eat my words on the South Carolina predictions for Trump.    Hopefully many drop out after New Hampshire and that support consolidates onto another option aside from Trump.

Trumps behavior is embarrassing. The fact that hes a legitimate candidate speaks to how out of whack this country is.

Rand is out so im basically pissed at everything. Honestly, im writing in Rand. Cruz is a warmonger, Trump is... well Trump, im not a Rubio fan, Hillary is garbage and as dishonest as anyone can be and a failure(has she ever succeed at anything shes been in charge of???) and I dont believe more esocialist policies will be good for this country so im no Bernie fan although I do believe he is one of the most genuine and honest candidates
