NewHampshireRed Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 I'm not trying to start any rumors or speculation, but I've heard minor rumors of Hurley's RB who rushed for 2400 yards and 35TD's last year may be looking to transfer. Anyone know of this? Williamnus 1 Quote
Tigers_07 Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 i've heard from a couple of customers that came to food lion tell me that he'll transfer, but not for sure which school tho. Quote
Mountain Football Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Richlands did get a transfer from Graham in the last couple of days. Quote
Bigrhsfan Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 This is the first I have heard about any kid from Hurley coming here. But I guess anything is possible. Quote
Ryan4VT Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Richlands did get a transfer from Graham in the last couple of days. Yeah. Booker. Quote
bhs7695 Posted February 24, 2016 Report Posted February 24, 2016 Someone asked me the other day about someone from Bluefield transferring to Tazewell. I hadn't heard that and would be shocked if true just to play football there. Quote
NewHampshireRed Posted February 25, 2016 Author Report Posted February 25, 2016 Like I said, no intentions of false rumors. Just some slight rumbles in the back hills of Buchanan County. If he were to transfer to any school he's a great kid and hard worker. I cannot and will not fault anyone with his level of talent trying to find better exposure for the next level. Ryan4VT 1 Quote

Heck yea, we have 2 Taco Bells, 2 Micky D's, 2 Wendy's plus all the other fast food places, I wish we would at least get an Arby's or better yet a Chick-Fil-A.........come on mayor, get it done.....lol rvtne216, Ryan4VT and cityofRaven 3 Quote
bhs7695 Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 If someone would handle the franchise fee I would bet a Chick Fil A would kick ass in the area. I also love Pal's Sudden Sevice. I gotta think Pal's is slowly making its way to the area. Ryan4VT 1 Quote

EH31 Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 I second the motion for MOE's Mexican food made in front of you with a cold beer to wash it down with. Hard to beat that at any other fast food place cityofRaven 1 Quote
cityofRaven Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 When I lived in Charlotte I'd eat Moe's at least 3 times a week, Chick-fl-a once or twice a week, and I missed Pal's. Now I live in Nebraska, and I miss all 3... Bigrhsfan and Ryan4VT 2 Quote

Corporations such as those will not put franchises in locations that cannot produce enough reliable workers to ensure the franchise's operation. Hacker, cityofRaven and 1inStripes 3 Quote
West12aaa Posted February 25, 2016 Report Posted February 25, 2016 Mapper a little bit of solstice that he might stay, I talked with some people close with Cody cane, and he had 2 (probably more) d1 offers (Maryland for football, VT for track) ((I know those for sure)) if he is a good player they will find him. futbolking Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Why would Booker (A receiver) want to Transfer to Richlands? Where they have good receivers, who he is not likely to take playing time away from? Oh well...... Not surprised if this is true. He had been talking about transfering, from what I had heard. I don't think he is happy about his decline in playing time at Graham. Graham will still be deep at the receiver position. Not sure if this is the best move for this kid. Don't think he is being looked at by any big schools, don't think he will get on anybody's radar playing as a backup at Richlands, either. Quote

He'll get plenty of PT and will see the ball a heck of a lot more with the way Richlands will sling it around next year. There just weren't enough footballs at Graham to get him involved as much as he wanted... Bigrhsfan, bluinheart and Ryan4VT 3 Quote

Last year we typically went 4 wide with either a TE or a RB. Those 4 were Howie and Ball on the outsides and Atkinson and Collins in the slot. Booker will take over Austins roles. A lot of screens and taking advantage of the matchup against safety's and linebackers. He will also start at CB, I would guess. bluinheart and Bigrhsfan 2 Quote
#1BLUESFAN Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 I also heard bout the Hurley running back wanting to come to Richland's. Not sure how he would do running the ball at 2a but damn he make a great linebacker... Quote
