swva_havok_fan 1,261 Report Share Posted September 7, 2016 I was thinking that the Grundy @ Lebanon game was also tomorrow. Also, as far as I know Paintsville @ Ridgeview is still a Friday game. Also, I am quite shocked Emory and UVa-Wise didn't move up to a Thursday night game. I know they are playing earlier on Saturday than normal (noon kickoff for both I think)... but still with traffic volume expected to be a nightmare this weekend, it would be difficult for someone who supports Emory or Wise who also had a Battle at Bristol ticket to make two games Saturday. I thought at one time I remember seeing something on them wanting each school to do so but I must have been mistaken. Seems like the number of schools keeping their page updated on these fell off this year than in the previous. For Richlands, Graham and Bluefield both have home games this week and Bluefield automatically gets Friday night, so the only choices were Saturday and fight the Battle at Bristol or Thursday. When I took over the updating for both for our team, I didn't have to take any action. However, the previous staff may have already done that.
