Region C is a little down this year but teams still strong enough to pull upsets......personnally think Graham substantial favorite in D 2 this side of state.....Chilhowie may be 2nd best team in SWVA overall?

The 3 time defending state champs may disagree...we may find out in a few weeks

Worst Radford has played all year, except for Galax which Galax had a lot to do with. Hoping it was nerves with all of our skill players being young but with all that said Raddy would have taken a beating from anyone else.

Survive and advance is the name of the game now

Radford has a lot of sophomores at key positions, things don’t always run smoothly. Fort chiswell has a solid defense even with loosing 4 starters from beginning of season. Forts offense does need a makeover but wasn't much time to do that with a last minute coaching change.

It's hard for kids not to read the press clippings and take the praise to heart.  Radford has played exceptional football since the Galax game.  A bit of a letdown after last week isn't surprising.

Fort Chiswell has a lot more talent than people give them credit for.  It's easy to forget the head coach still has an "interim" tag.  He took over 3 weeks before the season began when the former coach bolted.  And they lost arguably their four best players to serious injury.  That combination would have left anyone reeling.  Still, they persevered and made the playoffs.

Incredibly commendable resilience by the coaching staff, players and community!  Fort has some serious talent coming through the middle school right now, too.

Radford defense will take them to the Regional Championship. Since the Galax game they’ve only given up 7 points per game. Fort Chiswell played impressive D for three quarters, but wore down in the 4th. Like Giles, Fort has no depth at all and the same 11 pretty much played all night.

As for Radfords offense, they just weren’t in sync. Last night was the 4th time I’ve watched them play and their offense honestly looked better last week in the mud bowl against Glenvar than against FC.
