#BBN 128 Report Share Posted June 14, 2019 Is this the best performance from a pitcher in the VHSL State softball game? I know Todd Zirkle pitched a no hitter in baseball, struck out 12.......that is impressive......this girl has dominated the last 3 years in softball with well over 800 strikeouts and over 300 for one season...........love seeing the local talent stand out and do well in this area. Congrats Richlands on your title, and good luck Lebanon Pioneers! Hokie777

Kate YanchulisVerified account Still 0-0 between South County and Cosby in the Virginia Class 6 softball final as we head into the 13th inning. The announcer just played NSYNC’s “Bye, Bye, Bye” between innings so I think we’re overstaying our welcome. South County and Cosby have now played the equivalent of two full games at the Virginia Class 6 softball final - and after 14 innings, the score is still 0-0. Gridiron60 2,550 Report Share Posted June 18, 2019 Mac Osborne, I stand by my earlier post stating she's the best softball pitcher in 2A possibly the entire state. Congratulations Mac! Her determination and work ethic are tremendous. Borrowed from FB post by her travel ball coach. I believe he's coached her and a few others on the Richlands team since they were 7 or 8 years old. 2019 Virginia Player of the Year 2019 Virginia State Champion Top 10 VHSL History for Strikeouts in a Season (317) More awards to come for the year........ 2018 First Team All-District •2018 District Pitcher of the Year •2018 First Team All-Region Pitcher •2018 All-Region Player of the Year •2018 First Team All-State •2018 Virginia Player of the Year •2018 Bristol Herald Courier Player of the Year •2017 First Team All-District •2017 Conference Player of the Year •2017 First Team All-Region •2017 All-Region Player of the Year •2017 First Team All-State •2017 Bristol Herald Courier All-Area Team •Top 10 in VHSL History for Strikeouts Season (295) as a Freshman •Top 10 in VHSL History for Wins by a Pitcher in Season as a Freshman
