This site will have all schedules for all teams as long as the schools update them.

VA High has the resources talent wise to be a Radford clone most of the time.  They've never had the culture to make it work with baseball being the exception.  When you have the culture they've always had, you get these results and will continue to do so.

The averagest program in VHSL history.  108 seasons.  486-491-46.  17164-17134 (points for/against).

Not sure I'm sold about Va High's talent.  I've heard this by many respected fans and friends for years, and I've heard about the culture thing, etc.  After 100 years of mediocrity in football, and often less than mediocre, I have a hard time buying the argument that the talent is definitely there and the culture and being one coach away from turning it around is what is needed.  After 100 years, the odds are that VA High will have stumbled upon a solid coach or two (at least one), and the odds are the culture would have shifted in some shape or form in a positive way.  Cultures shift over 100 years, from everything from pro war, anti war, pro drug, anti drug, pro alcohol, anti alcohol and back, no communism, but socialism ok to some, etc, etc, etc.  Going by these odds, I'm not sold the talent at Va High has been what it's made out to be by some.  I can buy the culture argument as an influence, but I think the talent argument is also in play.

Take it from a Va High grad.  By culture, I mean the lack of emphesis.  At schools that traditionally have strong histories in various sports, it's because the community, the admin, and ultimately the kids there care, enjoy participating, and the support structure is there for the continued support.  At VHS, the only sport that applies to consistantly is baseball.  The talent pool has always been consistant and reminds me of being Radford's southern clone.   The difference is Radford always had the program that got the kids to come out, especially for football and basketball.  Va High never has.

Back to random...

If any of you guys like fried green tomatoes, and or BLT, and or fried green tomato BLT...

Make your fried green tomatoes and bacon, rip some lettuce of the head, get two pieces of bread...get you some Palmetto Cheese with Jalapenos (you can find it at Food City...and yes, Palmetto is correct)...slather one side of the bread with the Palmetto Cheese with Jalapenos, slap on top of that three or four thick, warm fried green tomatoes, cover them with the bacon and top it with the lettuce and other slice of bread.  Get yourself a small bowl of Ranch dressing to dip it in and thank me later...

The Palmetto with Jalapenos is incredible. Only "store bought" pimento cheese that i'll eat. The Original is good too, the Bacon not so much imo, but the jalapeno is just the right amount of spice for every meal.

Goes great on burgers too, with a little bbq sauce and grilled onions
