pvfan 32 Report Share Posted December 30, 2019 I didn't realize they had dropped to AA. Going to pose a major problem for anyone trying to win a boys basketball state title for some time. They have high major D1 talent on that roster that seems to shuffle in and out yearly. Quite frankly, I'm shocked that's a AA school but people are moving out of that part of Richmond. Curious to see how whoever gets out of C/D handles this bunch, I think they have four college prospects on this year's roster and had the number one player in the country not long ago after he transferred in and then left. BBHoops_18 206 Report Share Posted December 30, 2019 I don't think anyone in 2A can compete with them. They only lost to Sierra Canyon by ten.
Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted December 31, 2019 Yeah, would be a massive upset if they were to lose in AA play. That team is legit.

BigWinners 1,642 Report Share Posted January 1, 2020 I'll be shocked if any 2A team is within 25 points of JM. They may be the best team in the entire state. Insanely talented.
Bearcat Bob 491 Report Share Posted January 1, 2020 JM has a ton of talented ... and a huge lack of discipline. A good coach with above average talent can beat them, IMHO. Didn’t a similarly talented JM team lose to Northside a few years ago? Radford, East Rock, Dan River, Gate City, etc. may be able to take them on a given night. When they get behind, they turn to all out “And One” street ball. All that being said, they probably win 2A state.
