redtiger 1,740 Report Share Posted September 14, 2020 I heard whats going on right now called a "Culture War" and imo thats the best way to describe it. There are 2 completely opposite views clashing: one which strives for what the world could and should be, another that accepts the world for what it is and tries to make the best of it (thats putting it nicely for both sides). Neither are wholly correct, and each is wholly incompatible with the other. Its not just Left/Right, Liberal/Conservative, its deeper than that. Im afraid a reckoning is coming, a very violent one. I hope not but its inevitable imo when views are this far apart. Its not going to take place over football but football is a good example of whats going on.
