44cov3 55 Report Share Posted May 13, 2021 I saw where the football coach at Hurley has resigned; he also coach basketball and tennis I think....going to be tough to find someone when consolidation talks are always on the horizon. S10SQUAREBODY4LIFE 239 Report Share Posted May 13, 2021 knowing you're going to possibly be the last coach there could be a tough call. what you've got coming up that you may never see develop could definitely change your outlook and attitude, kind of a double-edged sword. always a tough bunch of kids at the cliffs, hate to lose any to consolidation just because community support is so hard to build again. I don't think the rivalry between Buchanan co. schools are quiet like recent ones in wise co. so it'll be interesting to see how it goes.
