Keokee was gone before I got in HS but stories dad and others have told regarding playing in the dairy barn/gym was something else. That and an official who had all four wheels stolen and his car on cinder blocks during a game have been interesting.

Yeah that use to be a place you didn't wanna go near around Halloween.  I've seen couches on fire in the road and numerous trees down over there and getting egged going down the road but it seems to have calmed down some

My old man had a dolly fixed with a wooden box, it carried a small battery and a 12V electric horn that had about 100 different sounds. The box helped amplify the horn sound X 5 at least. However, he only hit the siren when my brothers team scored or when we came out onto the field for warm ups. We also had one like that at Grundy when I played, that is where we got the idea from.
