So next week Giles plays a Private School, North Cross. Anyone know how points work with playing private schools?

I'm wondering that myself as I am only counting games with LCA because it is the only private school, that I'm aware of, that is a member of the VHSL. I don't think NC counts, but we'll find out when the VHSL releases its official PP ratings.

I was told by another person that it likely would not count because NC isn’t a member of VHSL but not 100% sure.

In the past they have not counted, but this is a crazy year. Will also be interesting to see how many games are declared forfeits vs no-contest. I have no clue how to determine that except to wait on the VHSL.

Agree with you 100 percent.  Im looking to see how the Appomattox  vs Buckingham game counts or not.

George Wythe should be a forfeit to Graham in my opinion since they got off Covid protocol yesterday, Graham offered to play on Saturday instead of Friday & they still refused. Lots of teams have played on less practice.

I didn't think private schools ever counted except Liberty christian which they let play for vhsl state titles

How many schools in SWVA play basketball against Oak Hill Academy? When i was there we played Galax and Fries (sp) and possibly Marion in 1973. If your stil playing them does it count?

basketball doesnt use power points and overall record has no bearing in post season seeding
