Nope.  Something was broken from the get go.  RV was outcoached and outclassed by an incredibly wide margin.  Something isn’t right.  They made some incredibly bad calls and decisions and you could see a lot of frustration with the players.  They just don’t know what they want to be….ran some plays and Abingdon blew them up.  They couldn’t defend the pass and stayed in a very soft coverage and refused to come out of it.  The coaching and preparation just isn’t there.  Seems like they e been getting by on raw skill.  Caught up with them tonight…..couldn’t defend a basic RB flairing on an lazy out pattern.  Abingdon ran it 8-10 times.

Terrible the way the looked last night they won’t even beat Gate city seen no adjustments all night on defense. Offense play calling terrible not sure why they keep trying to establish the run there not going to do it against bigger d lines need to spread them out with there speed. Fake punt on 4th and 12 on there side of the field terrible call

Even if they made adjustments, I don't think it would've mattered. Abingdon had 10 days to get ready for this game, and they looked the part. I hope they can make a run this year. This is still a young Ridgeview team. Hopefully they can bounce back and give the beavers a game.

Agree.  I told someone that if RV played them 10 times the results would be the same.  There are still issues that RV hasn’t addressed:  1) subpar or non-existent S&C program 2) undisciplined play (lots of penalties..15 yarders) 3) lack of detailed positional coaching in some areas (slow to make adjustments if at all)
