Who plays who and when will they be played? I assume first round games are at the higher seed then where?

Thursday
Game 1-Lebanon vs Union @ Lebanon

Game 2-Gate City vs winner of Richlands/Marion @GC

Game 3-John Battle vs loser of Richlands/Marion @ JB

Game 4-Virginia High vs Central @ Virginia High

Next Tuesday

Winners of games 1 and 2

Winner of games 3 and 4

Both will be played at Lebanon assuming that they beat Union

 Next Thursday 

Championship game 

Will be at Lebanon as well assuming they are still playing

Defending State AA Champion Patrick County upset in 1st Round of C2 Baseball Tournament May 22nd.  Cougars were (20-1) entering the game, while Gretna was (7-15)

Union almost pulls off the big shocker, falling to Lebanon 1-0.

Did anybody else play tonight?  If not, that gives Lebanon an extra day of rest for that particular pitcher that the other teams won't get.

Wonder if Neff pitched for Union? He's going to be special. Impressive to hang that close with Lebanon regardless.

Neff vs Barton in pitchers duel.

Neff threw 112 pitches (69 strikes), 2 hits, walked 7, and had 10 strikeouts

Barton threw 97 pitches (67strikes), 2 hits, walked 0, and had 11 strikeouts 

Lebanon scored on wild pitch by relief pitcher. Very close game. Lebanon also left bases loaded three different times.

I was very shocked on how talented he was just to be a freshman. Did he just get rattled when they would play central and gc? Very shocked that he couldn’t beat either of those two teams

We can't field and can't hit-simply put. The Bears average 4 errors a game:( I'd love to see them clean things up and commit to working on hitting.

John Battle with a very impressive win over Marion today.  Top to bottom impressive hitting on display.

Central defeats Virginia High 5-3 in 8 innings. 

M7 takes 3 of the 4 quarterfinal games. Lebanon, Battle, Central, and Gate City in the semifinals.

Lebanon vs. Wise Central in the finals.

Lebanon crushed Gate City 15-0, while Central upset Battle in the other semifinal.

Region 1D is an all Hogoheegee final between Chilhowie and Rural Retreat.
