For all the criticism some folks on this board direct at the Graham announcers , give me Eric & Brock all day , every day over that NFHS crew.

Pretty sure that was the Strasburg home crew. I've watched a few Strasburg games and those were the same announcers. I think the home team is the team that gets the NFHS broadcast.

That must be a new arrangement because in  2022 state championship game when Graham played Central NFHS had their own announcers. It wasn’t the Graham crew.

I'll be the first to admit that I've given Graham's radio guys grief over the years. This year I tried to listen with a more open mind. My constructive criticism would be they don't update the score and time left in the quarter nearly enough. Outside of that I'll give them break after listening to the state game on nfhs. I was embarrassed for those guys.

The announcers were inept, ignorant, unaware, and ill-prepared. Otherwise, I had no issues.

Both coaches have to agree to use it and I was told the Strasburg coach did not want it used. I'm presuming Essex & Grayson head coaches agreed to use it.

It was the same guys from 2022. "No two ways about it". He didn't say it as much this year but I heard it a few times.

Hatfield does a lot of games for the VHSL when it comes to state title games.  He has done 1A I think for a few years and the state basketball finals also.

Thinking back and trying to analyze some-Strasburg letting Graham receive the kick off & deferring was probably a mistake. In the grand scheme, it wouldn’t have mattered though. Graham’s offense completely caught Strasburg defense off guard in my opinion. They weren’t expecting 5 wide and seemed confused on that first drive as to what to do. Gave Graham momentum right off the bat.

This game had a lot of memorable moments.  The hit stands out, but that Strasburg player stuck upside down in the hedges stands out too....anybody got a picture of that? ...lol, that was crazy

 D'OH!  I knew it was Blake Graham but...🤦‍♂️  I can't be defaming Chris Edwards (my favorite G-Men) with an inaccurate meme.
