Richlands says 10/17 and @ Marion on 10/31.
Lebanon says 10/31 and @ Graham 10/24.

They supposed to have scheduled Grundy 2 years ago. However, they messed that up and blamed Grundy.

From what I gather, VERY good in 2022 (10-0, lost in either state semi or final), serious drop in 23 (3-7) and went winless in 2024. Lost to SH by an even wider gap than Union. No clue what 2025 will bring.

I know multiple teams turned them down, and I don't blame them for not wanting to play another 6A game. So at some point you just play who is willing to play you.

Richlands did the dropping is my understanding.

That makes sense then. I couldn’t fathom dropping Richlands who will probably win some games in 2025 to pick up a 0-10 team.

I was told it was because Richlands wanted to rebuild with a lighter schedule. I guess getting beat 40-0 every week would deter kids from coming out.

With an easier schedule comes more wins and maybe more participation.

As for Boone, they were very solid just a couple years ago, so hopefully 2024 was an anomaly. Also, they will be a large 3A or small 4A depending on how the VHSL classifies them.

I would imagine they will be listed as 3A as they have very similar enrollment numbers as TN High.

That definitely makes sense from Richlands perspective. Getting some easy wins will hopefully help get more kids out although they had bigger numbers than Graham this past season. Boone, I wonder if the majority of losses were a thin margin and maybe not a lot of Seniors? If so, they’ll probably rebound from it and be a good pick up for Union.

Yea, it's 1200 (9-12), but I'm not sure how that translates to the 9-11 enrollment the VHSL is using now. Class 4 begins at 900.
