He’s already head coach of the baseball team. Just hope who ever gets the job can get them to the next level. Quote

Graham32 Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 I heard through the grapevine that Tazewell is seeking the infamous Bud Kilmer for the Head Coaching position. Along with that they will be renaming to the Kilmer Coyotes. Quote
Real Sasquatch Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 o.k. Let's get this over with... Frank Beamer Nick Saban Chris Akers Neal Brown.... You may now proceed. Quote

If not, who’s that leave that a viable candidate that’s already there? Deacon Young? Quote

Unless your life is high school sports but you really wouldn’t have time for anything else if you do both sports right Quote

Can't be everywhere. Good luck to Tazewell, hopefully they will find a dedicated and committed coach to the program and kids. Quote

A young single guy could probably manage it. Hopefully, they find someone with great football IQ & leadership skills. Quote
adsi97 Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 I think Brandon is doing baseball and football at Tazewell now. He's the DC for the football team I believe so he could move up to head coach of football. I hope he does. Wildcat/Chanticleer and Gridiron60 2 Quote

But being an assistant and a HC is two different things. It’d be a challenge but I think he could do it. Find the right supporting staff. Wildcat/Chanticleer 1 Quote

He has been the DC for a while so I would expect no changes on that side of the ball. It will be interesting to see what they do on offense. Does he keep the OC or bring on someone new. If they are going to change offenses this is the time to do it...new QB. I expect that to stay a 3/4 wide offense although I think they have the pieces to be a power running team. Gridiron60 1 Quote

SpillBoss Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 What are the chances the admin goes outside and recruits someone not with the current program? Quote

The job is posted on the Tazewell County Website. It will probably depend on who applies, I guess. Quote

Do they have a teaching position or some other position to offer in addition to HC? Not school can offer the salary package Grayson County HC got. I don’t recall all the specifics but I remember it being discussed on here. Quote
