I just seen that Ethan Lawson (OL) from Rye Cove received an offer from Syracuse. Congrats and keep working!

Thats awesome 👍

Wouldn’t be surprised to see if Gage Palmer starts to get D1 attention by the time he’s a senior. Lilly should receive some FCS offers I’d imagine. Chris Edwards signed with FCS Morehead State.

I thought everyone that had a hudl account was d1? Lol Hope to see many of them play at the next level, any level above high school.  Really great run of athletes in the region the past several (20) seasons. Say what you will, but it appears a certain Tazewell county is showing up and showing out several times when it comes to getting kids to the (any) next level. Fingers crossed that g- men come out in the bone first series this fall bahaha. On a side note, watched ab interview with G-men assistant, favorite place to play is Salem! Think big, go big.

I like Mitchell & the idea of Graham getting their own stadium but my favorite play to watch the GMen is definitely Willis White Field 😂

You sure it’s not Bullitt Park? You guys seem to love playing down here now, it would be nice to get a home W down here sometime if you guys would let us 😂

I’m not do sure the Bears won’t run the gauntlet next year. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if y’all ended up at Willis White Field.

I wish but we’re not beating you guys.  I fully expect y’all to go undefeated again and probably the season after.  Unless they’ve added someone like Science Hill caliber team that is.

Bears nearly beat Graham regular season last year. I don’t think anything is a given. GMen have some big shoes to replace in the likes of Hill, Graham, Edwards, & Isabelle. The Bostic kid is an athlete though.

That offense was so predictable.

I agree,  if they would go into the season with spread offense or at least make commitment to throw the ball, ( the running game is already there). IMO they would be one of the teams to beat.   Never get by Glenvar and probably not Graham running ball 90% of the time up the middle     Reference Graham vs Strausburg  where Straus lived then died by the run.

Three Rivers District in 2025 will have 3 D1 Quarterbacks, but Alleghany is technically moving districts so it's actually 2 D1 QBs.

Glenvar-Brody Dawyot-upcoming senior, UNC-Charlotte, ODU, Coastal Carolina, Maine, Norfolk State, Bryant, Richmond. Larger schools will likely follow over the summer. Wake Forest, VT, UVA, UNC are all close and have high interest.

Radford-Luke Gaither- upcoming Junior and the number 1 ranked class of 2027 QB in the state of Virginia by one source-Arkansas, App St, UNLV, Toledo, Liberty, Delaware, Sacramento State. Over the next year, likely to have major power 5 offers in addition to Arkansas. Notre Dame, Penn State, and Louisville are all close and have high interest in him

Alleghany-Desmond Jordan, upcoming senior, very high GPA, offers from Cornell, Maine, Middle Tennessee.

I've seen all 3. I think the kid from Alleghany is better than Dawyot and Gaither. Our kid at Radford is a bit of a surprise. His rankings and offers largely come from summer camps and spring camps where him and Dawyot from Glenvar traveled together and Luke is scoring very high in these camps. Both of them are traveling together/camping together again this summer along with Desmond Jordan from Alleghany.  Look for the Bobcats to be much better this year and to give Glenvar (the favorites in Class 2, Region C) a decent battle, but Alleghany will beat both of us again. I've heard Alleghany will still play us (not sure though) and Glenvar in 2025, but Alleghany is moving to the Shenandoah District and will have 7 games from that district which includes Riverheads, Stuarts Draft and Staunton. Alleghany playing Glenvar and Radford are key games for Graham and Union for that 14th game playing at home or on road because Alleghany likely puts Glenvar and Radford at 1 loss to start the season which figures big into power ranking and homefield advantage for the semi's in game 14.

Its awesome that local kids are getting the opportunity to go to the next level especially at higher level programs

Just got Alleghanys schedule since I mentioned it in the post above post. Alleghany will not play Glenvar or Radford this season. Alleghany will have 8 games in its new Shenandoah District joining, and the 2 non districts games are against Brookville and Greenbrier East. Glenvar and Radford, especially Glenvar stands a high chance of going 10 and 0, or 9 and 1 at worst putting pressure on Union/Graham for that state semi home field position.
