Former Eastside coach Patrick Damron on taking over the reigns of Wise Central boys basketball "I'm very excited to accept the head coaching position at Central High School. This is an exciting new chapter for my family and I. I look forward to building strong relationships with the players, staff, and community." Central has a group of hungry players and my focus will be on creating a long term program built on hard work, tough play and accountability. volunteer Posted July 23, 2025 Report Posted July 23, 2025 Good ole buddy system at its best at Central, Boggs took them to their best year, winning the PVNB classic (first time), won the Mountain 7(first time) and won 20 games on the year (first time). Sad!!!!! Some of the higher ups in Wise County are real P O S's. But at least his boy will get more playing time now thanks to daddy. Good luck in 2A (sarcastic), it's a big difference than the Cumberland. Quote
