The region D title game will not be Graham vs. Union.

(One of the 2 will make it, but not the other one).

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised with this prediction.

I think the entire stadium drama will wear thin as the season goes on with the ridiculous scheduling and lack of support from a select group of elected officials and school personnel. Hopefully, the players and coaches use it as fuel to show up & show off.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Graham goes anywhere from 7-3 to 10-0 regular season.

Graham loses more than one game (wishful thinking.)

Richlands finishes 2nd in the SWD.

Ridgeview finishes 4-5 in the M7.

Eastside wins a district title.

@Dookthecook real identity is revealed!

I don't know.  I'm super confident RV doesn't finish 4-5 in the six M7 games it plays. 😂

I guess I should have checked my grammar.. I meant to say finishes 4th-5th in the standings.

Also partly threw that out there because I knew I’d get a response from you. 😂

2A Glenvar makes it to the state game.

Graham loses at least 1 game regular season does not make it back to state.

1A Team from the East wins it all.

1A Mountain Empire - GW or Grayson with Giles 3rd. Galax wins 1 or 2 games.

Pioneer - Bath or Parry McCluer

Hogo - Rural Retreat

I appreciate the low-hanging fruit.  Lol.

Man, I'm on the fence about Ridgeview, I really am.  They have more variance than any team in the M7 in that they could be the biggest surprise or the biggest disappointment.  I truly believe that the M7 is sleeping on the talent that is at RV.  There are several positions where they should be the most talented in the district.  I absolutely believe their skill group is under the radar.  My hesitancy is the deployment of that talent.  IMHO they have potentially the most dominant DT in the region......IF they can get him to play there....he likes DE better.  They tend to not play their QB on defense which is a problem because this year's QB is going to be 6'3", 250 and should be a dominant DE.  They have another kid that should be a dominant DE that they will probably play at LB and I fully expect the natural CBs to play S and vice versa.

Additionally, I don't see a better group of young WRs in the district and they have two that have plus speed.   They have a very capable group of RBs with the Deel kid being elusive and fast.  No one will argue that they will have the best kicking game in the state.....maybe at all levels.  So, you have a team with talent and skill and top end of the region speed coupled with the best special teams group in the region.  The defense will be one of the better units in the region...as they always are.  One can see how the team can be underrated.  On the other hand.....brand new QB and several new OL so you can potentially see a team that has trouble moving the ball.  They also don't have depth in many places except WR and maybe DB.
