Appomattox Raiders

Last week the Raiders lost in their benefit game to the LCA Bulldogs (two time class 3 champs).   I will say that in the loss I saw some good thing happening and I think the Raiders will be better than their showing last year. 

Basically a pass out of end zone and holing call pushed the score to 9-0 then a pooched kickoff gave LCA a short field on the backed up KO...score...Raiders then fumble the KO and LCA scores again.

 

They meet up with class 3 Brookville this week and it will be a tough test for the Raiders.

As a rule they (Gretna) is always pretty tough.  They generally have a lot of good athletes on the field!
