I, only listened to the second half, but Bluefield often presents problems to Graham especially in the speed department. Typical Beavers teams can score on quick plays instead of long drives.

Again, not sure if this applies this game, but they certainly can make you pay for those mistakes!

The futility still blows my mind especially since the Minutemen were super competitive in what was arguably the toughest AA district in the state years ago. Jefferson Forest, Brookeville and Heritage seemed like perennial contenders in addition to Amherst and Heritage.

Haha he gone the dude for some wheels on him. But hey my MAROONS did good imo most had us getting thumped by 3+ scores and to only be down 4 with 6 mins left ain't to shabby lol. I'll take it on to the next hopefully everyone came out of the 1st week healthy and whole.

It wasn't bad GW got down early but didn't give up and hung around the Cats and gave them a solid fight. Had it not been for that pick 6 we were only down 24-20 with 6 mins left and had a legit chance to take the lead late. But a simple mistake got us and Radford was ready and in the right place to seal the game.

I only mention those names, going back to Appalachia tradition, as well as Powell Valley to illustrate the x-factor/take it all the way threat that usually puts the solid team over the top. 
(Thinking of the usual equivalent to recent Clements and Bradshaw that Graham has fielded in recent years, though Union is often equally or even more talented elsewhere.)

Watched this one on NFHS and my god it was pitiful to watch. Glenvar literally did whatever they wanted to do whenever they wanted to do it. Maybe the worst Galax team I've ever seen. Not taking anything away from Glenvar they did exactly what they were supposed to do. But if Galax win a single game this year I'll be surprised.

Relative to what they are capable of, I give Union a B- tonight. The defense was lights out. Offense had a few things pop up that I’m sure Coach Turner will want to address. Things just weren’t 100% in sync like they were a week ago. Still think this team has a very very high ceiling.
