The VHSL decided not to include out of state schedules for some reason, and I'm in the dark on if any of the private schools in KY, NC, and MD count towards points. This will be in later weeks. Hopefully, I can get that figured out by then.

For 2D, I have Tazewell with 27 and a total of 9.00.  I have John Battle with 48  and a total of 12.00.  I'll have to check those two.  Otherwise, we have the same.

Edit:  double checked - pretty sure my numbers are correct.

JB has 48 - 12.00 average.

Tazewell has 27 - 9.00 average.

I had Pulaski/Staunton river inverted. Fixing that and Holson/Narrows should have both Tazewell and Battle fixed.

I think the difference is Northside. I have them at 6 rider points with wins over Pulaski, Cave Spring and Hidden Valley. One loss to Glenvar.

They did not take the forfeit from Galax and instead, scheduled Rappahanock for this Friday. This might be the difference.

Thank you.  its my first year trying to put this together.    I did not realize Northside had rescheduled.  I have some other differences from yours but I'll go back and double check.  Does a team get the rider point when they lose to a team?  For example does Radford get a rider point from their loss to Giles?

right but if you lose to a team, you are already getting points for losing to them based on their classification so it seems odd to me that you would also get an additional rider point because of their win over you.

It may not make perfect sense, but that's the way it's set up.

Base points, then rider points, win or lose.

It is to benefit tougher schedules IMO.  Not a perfect system but it has worked fairly well overall.

It’s hard seeing the winner of the RV - Union game not being the 1 seed in the West.

The loss to DB is basically a win against against a 2-8 2A team. As far as points are concerned it's like GC is 5-1 instead of 4-2.

RV could beat Union and lose to GC and it would be like all 3 are 9-1, so no guarantees on the RV/Union winner.

I'm also very interested to see how Graham/Lebanon/Va High all shake out.

Lebanon could go 10-0/9-1. Va High could finish 9-1. That would definitely put a wrinkle in the M7 finishing #1 and #2.

Lots of good games remaining.

Lebanon will beat Va High, Lebanon would have beat Va High last year if it wasn't for Keyshawn Smith he made the difference. He's long gone, I like Kaiden Laws for Va High he's a good player but not in the same league as Keyshawn
