I’m giving the nod to Lebanon provided they’re healthy. I think Coach Norris & the Pioneers will be ready to rebound from two tough losses.

They have a short week and supposedly had a couple big injuries, while VHS should be rested  coming off another  bye but we will see.

I know missing Easton Taylor on defense according to Coach Norris' postgame interview hurt them, but I think they have too many weapons for VHS 42-28 Lebanon.

We will see, I heard more than 1.  That was from someone very close to the program. If they can turn around that quick more power to them. They may beat VHS but it will be close. VHS by 7.

The way Graham beat them Union better be ready for Graham in the playoffs. Out scored last two teams 104 to 14. Not the same Graham team. I said they were much better than people thought and I was 100 percent correct.

A senior linebacker from Lebanon had to go to the hospital during the game. Don’t think it was due to a physical injury. Taylor was likely on concussion protocol from a mean hit by Chandler last week. Bakers healthy Reece is healthy and Jessee is healthy.

Still a short week, but like i said if they can turn around and beat VHS and contain the cats, then more power to them.

When he got up after Chandler popped him, I saw his head bobbling and said to my buddy "There's a concussion"

2 bad teams going at it. Last week I would have said Lebanon by 30, after watching Lebanon today I do see they really lack team speed. Reece is a baaaaaad man he means everything to Lebanon, without question he's player of the year in SWVA. The outcome is simple one team has Reece and the other team doesn't

What's crazy is the top 5 teams in football will be basically the top 5 teams in basketball in SWVA. Gate City, Graham, Union, Lebanon an swap Ridgeview for Wise Central for basketball

Lebanons got a lot better chance in basketball than any other sport to win region this year

I would be shocked if Central didn't win state in basketball if JM is busted up. Damron is walking into a jackpot.

If Central didn’t have damron I’d give the region pretty confidently to Lebanon or Graham, they did lose collins and I don’t know how healthy foster or Hayes will be for the season

Where does this narrative that people keep repeating that anyone was doubting Graham come from? Everyone knows who Graham is and that until someone drives the stake into the heart in the postseason, they’re the top of the mountain. No one with any sense thought Graham wouldn’t be a major factor but they’ll likely have to go to on the road three straight games if they want to win 2D this year.

Since Princeton, they’ve played Marion, Pulaski, VHS and Lebanon with Richlands and Tazwell left. They’ll be cruising into the postseason but won’t have played a competitive game since September. That could play a factor. Union will be somewhat the same but Abingdon plays Union tough and has been by far the toughest M7 test for the Bears historically but Union won’t have played a fourth quarter game since really GC if Abingdon can’t get rolling.

Lebanon in a close one but don’t count Virginia high out, I think Lebanon is still stuck in the first quarter at bullitt park. The matchup is good for both. Terrible lineplay and bad defenses. Reese gets back on track and throws 3+ TD, 35-20 type of game.

I think Reece and Co. will have their way. Va High has better line play than Lebanon, but not by a great deal like Graham and Union.

Agree. VH with better line play, but not by enough of a margin to overcome Lebanons offensive scheme and talent. This is a game where Lebanon loses if they didn't have a great coach and offensive system, but their coaching gets them the W due to their offense design and overcomes the difference on the line which isnt huge, but still favors VH.

After watching them give their all against Union, Lebanon's lack of "fire" against Graham was disappointing to say the least. I really thought they would hang with the GMen better than they did. I do think they bounce back against Va High. If Reece gets on a roll early, it could snowball. I also look for Jessee to get some yards on the ground due to more equal line play.

I see a 42-28 type game with the Pioneers picking up the win.

The “Graham has no chance” Straw Man is having a moment...He leads the region in imaginary doubters.
