Post them here..

I’ve heard through the grapevine that Lee/Union will be on a Saturday. Can anyone confirm?

All Bears games on Saturday. Turner wisely wants to get them used to schedule change.

crazy to think that Oak Glen @ Bluefield will be only the fourth high school varsity football game played at Mitchell Stadium this season.

Crazy that the City of Bluefield let Bluefield State sign a two year contract. Imagine, if they had afforded Tazewell County Public Schools the same consideration, they’d be up to double digit high school games by the end of this week but instead Graham will travel to Richlands for the 3rd week in a row.

Did not know that they allowed Bluefield State sign a 2year deal.   Really nice screwing high schools kids from a place to play.

I figured letting sleeping dogs lie was best approach as most of us have moved on but the post from swva_fan seemed like the appropriate time to wake the dog up or at least clarify some details others may not have known.

It was never about anything other than a certain foundation and their friends they give money to doing everything in their power to stop TCSB from building that stadium. And it still is.

They didn't HAVE to. You had a choice. Not the choice you wanted but still a choice. You CHOSE to do this to your seniors and maybe the juniors too.

I didn’t personally CHOOSE anything. I’m not a school board member nor am I  a member of the City of Bluefield’s council,  but okay if someone must take the blame for this mess, I’ll be the scapegoat , my apologies Seniors & possibly Juniors!
😂😂

By the way, the kids were excited about having their own home and actually seem fine. They made history.

The kids want their own stadium, the band wants it, soccer teams, little leagues, etc....the only people that dont want it are adults, most of whom have their own agendas.

It was the correct "choice".  The kids just want to play.   I had a choice one time to get ripped off by a phone scammer one time too, but I chose to hang up.  Graham has proven that they can be successful, regardless of where they play and that is all that matters.  Playing at THS or Ernie Hicks has been a better atmosphere for football, anyway.  Both of those are good High School facilities and will be fine until Graham gets their own.  Graham isn't the first team to have to play elsewhere until their stadium is built.  William Fleming played at PH in Roanoke for a few years....(or maybe the other way around) and they were county rivals.

I’m going to have to agree that the atmosphere is pretty darn good at Tazewell and Richlands, more of a high school feel to it, more intimate, even at Graham’s unfinished stadium, the atmosphere was still good. You can have a decent crowd at Mitchell and it still looks empty. It’s a great size for college games. Unfortunately, the college teams don’t garner much of a crowd which is sad for those guys. Mitchell may lay claim to the “Best High School Stadium” but sometimes “best” doesn’t always mean best for everyone. At this point, what’s best for Graham is to have their own stadium completed but like you eluded to, those boys will play anywhere. The band, cheerleaders, soccer, track, little league, middle school , etc. want and deserve their own finished facility.

Have no Dog in fight, and don't know local town politics with Bluefield's, but decisions and choices are two words I struggle with at the Chinese Buffett until I come to one final choice and decision. Choose All.

Choosing all at any buffet is living on the edge. 😂

Let's be real here we gave them that title because most of us voted 700 times. Apparently it's went to their heads.
