UniON_FoOtBaLL Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 Eastside In a closer game than last time they played. Â Quote
S10SQUAREBODY4LIFE Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 One score game, Eastside is strong but cove ain't a slouch and might have figured out a few things since last time. If cove wins the turnover battle and special teams, could be a great one. Quote
Logan hurww Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 Me personally I ain't that impressed with eastside. Richlands did beat them in a scrimmage in the summer eastside has gotten better but I do think rye cove will win im hearing that rye cove has a big line haven't watched to see but they may use that to they're advantage Quote
wdr31 Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 If Rye Cove can put together some drives and limit big plays by Eastside, they can pull it off. Quote

According to their coach he is already benching over 300 lbs and squats over 500. If you have any slightest idea about the weight room and body mechanics you know there’s no way that a 5’9 160lb teenager can do that naturally. Either we will be watching him stand on the top of the podium in the Olympics in a couple of years, coach is lying, or he’s on an insane amount of PED’s. Still a great player, but in today’s world if you claim to have that level of strength you should have video proof, no reason to not, especially for college coaches. Quote

Yeah, I am a bit skeptical on that too, but he is a great athlete regardless. Quote

Jags52 Posted November 27, 2025 Report Posted November 27, 2025 Rye Cove will be able to contain Hamilton they have one of the best front sevens in 1D but their back end is not good. They don’t have anyone to cover Bond. If they man him up or even double cover him he will get loose. If they run the same zone they have all year he is going to have a field day find holes in that coverage. Rye Cove has a great OL but 72 from Eastside is better than anyone they have including Lawson. It’s been a good run for Rye Cove but the run ends here. Eastside by 2 scores Quote

That’s not something that would require anything outside of great genetics, dedication, and work ethic. The bench isn’t even 2 times his body weight. Quote
Packman Posted November 28, 2025 Report Posted November 28, 2025 Eastside wins but closer than regular season game. Quote

Searched up on google and said it’s between 1-2% the amount of lifters who can bench 2x their body weight. Much less a teenager, so either they’re lying or he will be doing some sort of sport professionally and I would happily eat the crow if that happens Quote

vols4life Posted November 28, 2025 Report Posted November 28, 2025 Eastside hasn't honestly been tested Rye Cove wasn't at full strength 1st meeting. Cove by 10pts The horns will be loud Quote

Bond should get double covered(he shredded the RC D the first game) and that will open up the Spartan run game which has been expanding the past few weeks(the FB had a good game last week). tornado99 Posted November 28, 2025 Report Posted November 28, 2025 I’m just going to echo almost everyone and say Eastside in a closer game than the original with Bond being the difference.  I’ll start another thread about PEDs, as to not suggest any particular kid or derail this discussion. Quote
Union_Fan Posted November 28, 2025 Report Posted November 28, 2025 RC absolutely has a chance in this game and I wouldn't be surprised to see them win. They lost the LOS and got burned with passes the 1st go around. If they can sure up those 2 battles, it will be very close. I'm going to break with everyone else and say that Pannel will be the difference maker this time in a close Eastside victory. Quote
1inStripes Posted November 28, 2025 Report Posted November 28, 2025 Bond works his tail off in the weight room. Â Nothing really surprises me about numbers posted. Â Pound for pound strongest cat on their team and speed to boost. Â He gets overshadowed somewhat by Hamilton who is a force as well but Bond can star on about any team. Quote
