Sorry…got off topic. That also might be because grahams baseball field just got lights a year ago I believe Quote

It is what it is at this point, leaders in school system & county are pretty much useless. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong and the lights & bleachers will go up this summer. If not, I say play every home game except Bluefield at Graham even if it’s on Saturday. It’s not like playing on Friday night but it beats having to play home games at Tazewell or Richlands. frito gonzales and Real Sasquatch 2 Quote

I would encourage the fine folks of Bluefield, Va to demand better for their kids from those in leadership roles. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Quote

I would presume Deacon Young since there was a whole social media campaign for him to get it. I have no issue with him. He deserves the opportunity. He’s paid his dues so to speak. Quote

I don't know if he would be willing to give up one or not. I'm sure no way he gives up wrestling. Quote
swvafbrespect Posted April 2 Report Posted April 2 He isn't a serious candidate by the board and committee. 2 choices one u know who it is and probably get it 2nd one would turn tazewll on its ear Quote

Don't need to go back to well that went dry once. Its time move on from that and get coach in here that going to compete with teams in the county and outside the county. Quote
stu_bean Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 Sources tell me that J'me is back in the area due to parents health issues. So with that said family issues come first as they should so how much does that leave for focusing on a sport? I have nothing against him but I do hope for new blood that will reinvigorate and be part of the community (without getting to close 😉) Quote

Gridiron60 Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 It’s comical remembering back to broadcasts of the Tazewell games last season and the commentary-how much Padgett was going to benefit the Bulldogs and what a quality coach, yada, yada, yada…once the kids got used to his offense, things would turn around. I’m kind of anxious to hear the first couple broadcasts next season. If only they had hired Deacon Young that go around 🤦🏻. He’s a top notch guy, knows football pretty well, the kids like him, it’s just crazy he wasn’t given the nod. I’m not much on recycling because a lot of times that stuff just ends up in the landfill anyway. Good intentions but not always beneficial. Good luck to kids and coaching staff. I hope it all works out especially for the players. Real Sasquatch 1 Quote
