Rye Cove vs Rappahannock

I know zero about Rappahannock other than they’ve beat some good teams to make it to Salem but I hope Rye Cove can manage to pull the win!

Just got done watching the first half of their game today with Buffalo Gap.  They got some size.

This will be rye cove toughest test of the season and rightfully so.  Athletic with good size/ speed.  Defense isn't as tough up front, good for cove.  Offense, all over the place.  Stay disciplined on defense and cove has a good shot.

Sticking with the Cove. Hot at the right time. Focused and playing their best ball.  Be a different breed of officials for this one. Hopefully a non factor. Sorry. Had to say it.

Graham & Strasburg had cowbells and a couple of guys had those drill horns last year. Nobody said anything.

Probably 2nd toughest.  Lord Botetourt is stronger than Rappahannock but still gonna be a challenge.  The Raiders are good.

Rapp is prototypical of every good team that comes out of Region A.   Super athletic but struggle at times with consistent play, they will look great one play and very very average the next. Rapp is athletic enough to score many times on plays the go south quickly or even total broken plays.  Any space they have to play in is dangerous for the opponent.    Will be a tall task for Rye Cove. 

Rye Cove advantages IMO: Coaching,Team Discipline and Interior line play.

The field being shitty helped rye cove tremendously yesterday....I'm afraid that wont be the case this Saturday.  But I hope they win!

And Ryc Cove doesn't play until he sun goes down. Hopefully the VHSL will find a announcer that will actually try to learn about the team from Region D this year. The way they talked about Graham last year was embarrassing.

You have some high expectations there buddy. It’s will be embarrassing once again unless said announcers have changed. I wish they get the Mayor. He’d do a great job!
