Liam McPoyle Posted December 25, 2025 Report Posted December 25, 2025 I thought there was a decent chance he'd follow JF. Now that the Hokies have hired DL Coach Sean Spencer from A&M, I'll be shocked if it's not VT. DJ can move closer home and be developed by one of the best in the business. Quote
Graham32 Posted December 26, 2025 Report Posted December 26, 2025 He's going to Tech. Franklin loved him. Quote
Real Sasquatch Posted January 4 Author Report Posted January 4 He has a scheduled visit with the staff at Tech Quote
Hokiebird7 Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 Heard he had a do not contact tag also....not sure if that's true though Quote
techfan Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 I think he committed today to Va Tech. Not sure if he was no contact or not but he took one Coachs call and took one visit Quote
Liam McPoyle Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 DJ's STILL just 18 years old! Can't wait to watch Coach Chaos develop him the next few years. Hokiebird7 and Real Sasquatch 2 Quote

There needs to be a limit on $$ and one time transfer in my opinion. Said that as soon as the NIL announced. No cap on spending equals disaster and ruin, and thats what's happened. There is and has been discussion and ongoing discussion in congress, but nothing has happened. Even the NFL has a cap. It's actually hard to believe that when NIL deals and transfer rules were put in place/changed a few years ago, Not ONE human actually formed the thought, "Hey, you know, we should probably have a max that each school can spend or this could get out of hand." Well, that thought evidently didn't happen, or if it did, it held little weight. Gridiron60 1 Quote
