I saw Lee boys defeated Ridgeview. M7 folks, is there a clear leader of pack or M7 basically still up for grabs?

Abingdon, GC and Union all have two losses. Wise has been beaten three times, all four can still win it and they’ve all beat each other. Basically, flip a coin.

On recent results I'd lean towards Union having the best odds of winning the district but Gate City and Abingdon are in the mix. Abingdon at Gate City on Friday will be a big game. I think Wise has too many losses to win the regular season title but they are more than capable of winning the district tournament.

How does M7 determine seeding for regional play? Based off of regular season or district tourney?

Don't quote me on this but I think regional seeds are based off regular season.  Tourney results are used if there are any tie breakers.

For the most part, that is correct

Which is kind of surprising when you consider the past successes of Haysi and Lee in basketball. Both of those programs were tough in the late 90s and 2000s. It seems like Lee has gone thru a lot of turnover with their coaches and Ridgeview has been a cellar dweller since consolidation took place.

Ridgeview has a bunch of good athletes, just no pure basketball players

Tazewell was going to the basket and player made the basket.  Refs said time had expired.  Taking the 2 points off the board and Richlands with the win.    Richlands had to many balls overthrown and out of bounds.  They were fortunate to come away with the win.  Tazewell didn't cede the game.  Came up short with the clock.

Absolutely horrible call!!  It wasn’t even close. That official should never step foot on a court again. Not even a bang-bang call.

There is a pic on Tyler's Talking Sports FB page that shows the ball through the net and almost out of it with 0.8. That is HORRIBLE.
