I agree.  You have to know how many fouls you have.  Don't agree with them intentionally fouling like they did.  Bad night for King Robin.

I saw Dales got injured with about a minute left.  Was holding her right shoulder.  How bad was she hurt?

Not sure on the extent of her injury

How does rhe M7 look on girls side now? Did RV leap to rhe top after two huge wins?

I think it is:

1. Central

2. Ridgeview

3. Union

4. Abingdon

5. Gate City

6. Lee

7.  Battle

I believe RV and Union are tied. I could be wrong.

If Ridgeview beats Gate City tonight, they will be tied with Union.  And Union has the tiebreaker over Ridgeview

I was told RV/Union would be tied and both split with Wise and Abingdon, so the M7 two seed would be decided in district tourney. So who knows

It seemed like Central thought they were down instead of tied since they intentionally fouled them twice in the last 15 seconds.  Was just a very odd ending

Don't see that stuff much with Dotsons teams

With a very ill Bostic not scoring a point, Bears put on a defensive clinic and win the M7 title at Abingdon 35-30. Impressive to win the rugged M7 in football and basketball both. Union is the first school to do this since the inception of the M7.

End of 1st Q Graham/Richlands

Tied at 15

Halftime

Graham 25

Richlands 21

Officials must be trying to make up for that tazewell game. Richlands got absolutely hosed on about 4 straight calls to end the half

Side note- Seen that the announcers on nfhs are students. The young man definitely has a chance at going pretty far with  the announcing gig

I think we saw the same thing at Lee last night. I was very impressed

It makes for easier watching on NFHS when there is someone calling the game. If students can do a decent job, I say let them have at it.

First of all kudos to the young man and young lady doing the play-by-play.  I had a hard time hearing her, but the young man did an outstanding job.  Matter of fact, I first thought it was Ben Brown of WGTH.  Really sounded like him.

Now:

Wow!!! Wow!!!  As Gridiron said the Blues came to play and that they did.  Wynter Boyd and Parker Rider such a force on offense.  Herndon and Fuller are the X factor in this win.  Solid play from Cooper Hurst.  So proud of the Blues.    Playing their 3rd game in 3 nights.  Awesome!!!

Graham crapped the bed tonight for sure.   Never ran or pressed.  Not a good coaching night either.    Faster team more athletic and you just walk around and play slow ball.

Yep the whole take a minute each possession hurt them tonight. Worked against Lebanon but not tonight

Well deserved victory by Richlands. Those boys balled out and were not intimidated in the least. Dumbfounded by Baker’s decision not pressing at all especially 2nd half. Graham did not play Graham ball tonight.

Pressed a lot first half and Richlands broke it more than most teams do, but still just scored 21 points.

I worded it wrong meaning I would have tried pressing more 2nd half especially 4th Q and played faster pace. I feel like when Graham slows things down too much they tend to make more mistakes. I also think Graham probably underestimated Richlands. Never underestimate any opponent, ever.
