Martinsville struggled with Carroll tonight but won 59-48. The Dogs end a long week tomorrow at home against Patrick Co. Ends a long week with 5 games in 6 days. Thank goodness for our depth, and we are still waiting for our starting point guard to come back from a injury, should start playing hopefully next week. Our new coach believes in getting everyone involved so he plays 9 to 10 kids most every game. Real Sasquatch 1 Quote

Like I said now isn't the time to be saying it but Fix, Dissabio and Martin all on the same team isn't fair. Martin being only a sophomore that kid is special and he hasn't even begun to scratch the surface of his capabilities. Fix had an off night and it happens but what Blake Graham was to Graham last year Fix is that for the gmen this year. Graham is hurt today but in March they will be celebrating A February upset loss things looked Doomed and Gloomy for the Gmen but I knew better. Coach Baker is the great equalizer. Two things that stand out that separates him, he took a bunch of kids and played even in the 2nd half to a team loaded with d1 talent. Then he beat in the region championship arguably (people from council would disagree) the greatest SWVA team ever with McClung, Irving and Dean 3 kids that can average 35 that wasn't easy and now he can call himself a CHAMP. Congrats to the Gmen and to the Graham faithful Quote

1inStripes Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 Pretty sure Carlock left after the season GC won the title. Quote
Gridiron60 Posted March 15 Author Report Posted March 15 Todd Baker took over in 2018 as head coach. Carlock was head coach for several years prior, maybe 13-14 years. Bcats 1 Quote
