Richlands is explosive for one burst, but not enough firepower to have the same shell shock twice in a row. When all parts are firing in multiple directions, they are a problem for any team, but it seems like they self destruct after the big event and don't perform well the following contest. This reminds me of another team I can think of, but Im not going to troll. That team does start with a G, but it's not Graham or Glenvar or Gretna.

the reason they lost to tazewell is because they had 3 straight away games before that game and one of them was graham they were tired and they had no time to practice for tazewell and tazewell had days to practice for Richland's

Should have also been beat by Tazewell the first matchup. Despite beating Graham they still got seeded 4th in the district tourney

Several teams were playing multiple games a week due to all the weather related cancellations. The SWD girls are doing it this week due to tiebreaker games. 3 straight games can be tiring but these are teenagers not 50 year old men. I’m going to say Richlands edges Tazewell and then gets handily beat by Graham. I could be wrong and often am.

It's tournament time. Teams have to play multiple games a week. Plus, you're in high school, a perfect time to play multiple games in one week.

It's just what happens with the weather and having to get games in this time of year. Martinsville goes on the road tonite and tommorow to Radford and then Floyd Co. That will be 7 games in 10 days, rest on Thursday then the first round of regionals start Friday. Just got to show up and play.

And kids love it and would play 7 games in 10 days All Season if they were allowed. Kids have incredible energy.
