I think the Blues can make this a competitive game and hopefully come out with the win.  They have shown they are capable of playing the level of  basketball needed to win big games.    Wynter definitely has to put up his points, Herndon playing with his defensive "show you I can" personality.  Ryder needs a big night on the boards, Fuller with his inside rebounding game, having  "stick like glue" hands.  They  definitely move up a notch when Hurst is on the floor.  He is great with assists in making sure the ball gets to the hoop.    The Gmen will contest every possession the Blues have with their athleticism and speed, but I think the Blues can reciprocate in return.  Whatever the outcome is, both teams will leave it all on the floor to walk away with the W.

On a side note, the Loris Lions play Oceanside Collegiate in a marque basketball matchup tomorrow night at 7 in the 2nd round of playoffs.  The Lions are currently ranked as the  #3 team in  3A  South Carolina.

3 of their players have already been named to the 2026 Basketball Coaches Assoc All-State Team:  Nigel Miller, the twins Khalid and Khalil Sherman (whose talents propelled the Lions to their 2nd straight Lower State Championship Game (against Oceanside).
