If he only lacks around 8, he’ll definitely get that next game unless Union shuts him completely down but I don’t see that happening. Quote

Richlands book was pretty adamant the entire time that it was only his fourth Quote

Richlands book was pretty adamant the entire time that it was only his fourth I guess the refs didn’t agree. By his reaction at the time, he didn’t think it was his 5th either. Richlands has some talented players. Boyd being the best but the Herndon kid is a good getter. Someone else might get rebound but they’ll have to fight tooth & nail to get it from him. He can put up the 3s too. Quote

tbgfan Posted February 23 Report Posted February 23 Clarification please on the foul ruling... thanks Per Ben Brown of WGTH he showed Wynnter with 4 fouls, the Blues scorekeeper showed him with 4 fouls, the scoreboard showed it was his 4th foul, but the Marion scorekeeper said it was his 5th foul. How did his record of 5 fouls be the one the refs went by? He is a great bb player, with effortless play up the floor and the soft touch to the basket. Wynnter is the nucleus to the Blues. Herndon is the Red Bull to the Blues play with his hustle and defense. Also, having the capability of hitting the 3 pointers makes him a dual threat. Haven't seen Union play, so can't comment on their play. They're there for a reason in post season. Hopefully, the Blues can bring their A game and make it competitive night. Side note.... The Loris Lions play Fox Creek High School tonight at 7 p.m. at Fox Creek in playoffs. Fox Creek is a preparatory day school located in North Augusta, SC. Loris defeated Oceanside Collegiate 80-58 Friday night. Loris record is 25-3 and Fox Creek is 23-5. Should be a good one. Hopefully, will be carried on NFHS. Quote

Unchained Posted February 25 Report Posted February 25 Congrats to the young man from Richlands for becoming the all-time leading scorer at his school. He played extremely hard this evening. Union is just so solid defensively. Gridiron60 1 Quote

Gridiron60 Posted February 25 Report Posted February 25 Congratulations to Wynnter Boyd! Glad he was able to break the record. He’s definitely a talented athlete & from those that know him, a genuinely great young man. Quote

Good for the kid, thats a big accomplishment Quote

I watched him in football and was also impressed with how he carries himself. Humble, hardworking young man that makes plays and keeps his yap shut. More need to follow that example. Quote
