Widespread_Panic Posted February 22 Report Posted February 22 That Lebanon/Central first round matchup on the boys side should be a good one. Graham, Gate City and Union should be the heavy favorites in their games. Quote

Graham is the only one that’s probably a heavy favorite in round one. id say Graham has 95% chance Gate City with 75% and honestly I think Richlands matches up well with Union, unions still of course the favorite but I wouldn’t be shocked if their offensive inefficiencies catch up to them this time. I’d still say 65% but wouldn’t be surprised either way Lebanon slight favorites over central 52% Quote

If Herndon & Boyd get hot early, I wouldn’t be surprised with Richlands’ win. Coach Moore has done a good job. I expect Union to win but I won’t be at all shocked if the Blues pull the upset. Quote

1inStripes Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 2D likes to have their district champ host for each rotation it seems. The only way you get it all at one site is if the boys/girls from X district win the regular season. 1D makes way too much sense. Quote
Weatherman Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 Region 2D has two districts that rotate who hosts. When the M7 hosts the tournament it should be at UVA-Wise, and when the SWD hosts it should be at Virginia HIgh. This should apply to both boys and girls. Quote
Real Sasquatch Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 I think the #1 seed should get to decide. Gridiron60, BigWinners and Bcats 3 Quote

UVA-Wise does a tremendous job hosting the Cumberland District Tournament. Chris Davis and his crew give it a state tournament feel. Quote
1inStripes Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 It's an administrators dream. The only downside is the atmosphere. Wish it was a little smaller for the district tourney to make it feel a little more intense when fans get into it. Quote

My only complaint is the obnoxious screaming into the microphone on every scored basket. Cousin_Hoyt 1 Quote

Gridiron60 Posted February 24 Report Posted February 24 Anyone know if all games are still a go for tonight? I would presume they would be despite bad weather. Quote
