27-13 at half. Bears quickness and athleticism causing problems for the Blues

Central beating Lebanon 36-27. GC up 40-30 on Marion and Graham 33-14 over  Battle team that tapped out weeks ago.

I think the #1 seed should get to decide.

All this talk about who should host and/or neutral sites has been discussed for years. Well believe it or not Cousin Delbert may have stumbled onto the solution. Now as some people that know him and have stated over the years and that are acquainted with Cousin Delbert, some  believe he’s not the brightest light bulb in the pack, or his elevator doesn’t go to the top floor and that he’s a couple of fries short of a Happy Meal, he sometimes makes some sense. Delbert says to eliminate any fuss let the last place team host the district tournament. For the regional tournament, rotate districts each year and let the last place district team host. Definitely eliminate the home court advantage.      Cousin Claude hopes you’ all won’t be to hard on his runnin’ ’ around buddy, but think about it.

This is no shot at Richlands, they are a scrappy bunch that plays hard, but how in the world did they beat Graham?

I think Graham didn’t take them seriously and thought going through motions would be enough. Fix had a terrible shooting night that game, missed every basket he attempted. Richlands came to play. It happens sometimes and sometimes it’s a good wake up call not to take any team too lightly. I’d rather Graham lose to Richlands in the regular season than this week.

Central upsets Lebanon. Strong performance from the Mountain Seven tonight, winning 3 out of 4 vs the SWD.

Difference in this one is foul shots Lebanon probably missed 6 versus central missing 2. On way more attempts, central probably only had 7-10 fouls called on them versus 20-25 called on Lebanon, Lebanon probably had as many offensive fouls called on them as central had total fouls, meanwhile central can hook players and drag them to the ground and Lebanon gets called for it. Jessee also going down early allowed central to get a couple of offensive rebounds

Did Jessee go out of the game? If so, that was definitely a game changer.

Yes rolled his ankle pretty bad late 2nd quarter. Pretty likely it’s a pretty big sprain

To almost pull out the win without Jessee is impressive , I’d definitely expected a Lebanon win , maybe not a huge margin but with Jessee playing all 4 Quarters would have made a difference in my opinion.

What was the reason for the long delay in the 4th quarter of the Lebanon-Central game?

Debating how many fouls a Lebanon player had. He received three fouls in the span of about 30 seconds that were very soft. Which is when Hayes drug him to the ground and the Lebanon player got called for it

That was not the reason for the delay it was the score. After it was all said and done they hadn’t put 2 of Lebanon’s points on the board. Lebanon had 55 points at the beginning of the discussion and when it ended they had 57 points nothing to do with fouls.

Central's defensive strategy of face guarding Reece seemed to bother Lebanon for a majority of the game. Thompkins did an excellent job of denying him the basketball. Hayes and Horne hit some big shots to keep their lead going into the last few minutes of the game. Not having Jessee rebound for Lebanon really hurt them once he went out of the game.
