I disagree. They haven't called that all night.  Consistency is key.

Definitely the right call. If he bumped him sure I’m fine with a no call but Anderson extended a little

shouldn’t you be pulling for Lebanon? Who do they play next

oh no way. Where’s the double standard. You’re not allowed to disrespect Lebanon who won a title thirty years ago.

I just got home in time to watch some of the second half so I can’t speak on consistency but that play should be called a foul 100% of the time. It wasn’t just running interference in front of the player with the breakaway. He moved through the chasing defender.

Andersons way too emotional. Foul was completely unnecessary and then at the end of the game when he blocked tompkins shot he wanted to celebrate and flexed in front of his face instead of going for the ball/ contesting Hornes shot

Only close because fix didn’t score until 2 mins left in the third

Not true at all. GC was right there until the last couple minutes and thats with Housewright having to spend the entire first half on the bench after two quick fouls.

Damron embarrassed himself last night with his constant, over the top complaining. Any other coach at any other school gets at least one, if not two. He was ridiculous. His decision to hold the ball also let Union close the gap and almost steal the game with Bostic being in such bad shape and struggling to get going on offense. The Anderson play was a foul, but it didn’t affect the play and honestly you don’t make that call in that spot after how physical you let them play but it was a foul.

Dissibo has same issue, let his emotions make him make some mistakes last night. Horne too.

Yup. His shot wasn’t falling and he was trying to see it go thru. Understandable for sure but he was kept in check for most of the game.

It's almost laughable at how much Damron whines.  Of course a coach isn't going to agree with every call, but his constant complaining is embarrassing.

It was comical every single whistle he was just going bananas. It’s wild they don’t give him a T early just to shut him up.  Feels like if any other coach last night was that over the top, they’re getting a T pretty quick.

you don’t believe he was frustrated and tried to force things on several occasions and didn’t have his outside shot falling? Im not downing the kid but he was pretty clearly worked up.

Kid only took 3 outside shots and think was 1-3. Disibbio and Martin decided to drive because they wasn’t stopping them from gettin to the rack

I’ve seen Graham a handful of times and never once have I seen Dissibio run his mouth. Palmer and fix sure but Dissibio and Martin seem pretty laid back. Horne whines but he doesn’t let it reflect in his game

Yea I think the announcers said at one point that Ty had at least 30 and Dissibio was at least 20. Because when Graham hit 60 they mentioned them two combining for 50

They had 52 out of 60 at a point. Martin was in the lane all night he was just smooth. Didnt seem like he was doing too much then bam you look up he has 25. He finished with 30 or so.

We were watching two different games if you don’t believe he was frustrated   I don’t understand why you’re fighting rhe point. It’s not an insult and he still ended up with a good night but it was pretty clear he was aggravated.  Didnt chirp at rhe officials much, once or twice, but the body language was clear. I had no rooting interest I didn’t care who won.

Horne picked up two fouls that felt like frustration fouls. He also went out for a few secs when it seemed like he was mad.

If Dissibio and Martin put up points like last night & Fix can hit his shots, Graham should be able to get by Central but they can’t play lazy ball. It’s not easy beating a good team 3X in one season. Graham’s not on their A game, Central may come up with win. I’ve never seen Dissibo or Martin go off rails or run their mouths. I agree with Stelley, Fix & Palmer for sure. I think any player can get frustrated in heat of a game especially win or go home. Some contain it better than others.

Saw clip of the end of the game, definitely wasn’t the time to celebrate with ball still in play. That flex disappeared in record time when Horner’s shot fell though. Really couldn’t  tell much from NFHS but clip I saw, great block and definitely flexing. Unfortunately, these are teenage boys and sometimes their emotions get the best of them. I’ve seen emotions cost Graham over the years in some games not necessarily basketball. Union had a tremendous season and fought back to almost win. Congrats to both teams for giving the fans a great game!

Is this the first time Centrals boys have advanced to the state tournament since the school has been opened or have they been there before?

I don’t think they have but maybe a Wise County person can tell us for sure. Don’t think boys teams will ever eclipse the success of the girls. How many times have the girls gone to state? I lost count.

Seems like Central boys made it to the state quarterfinals one year and lost on a controversial call that nullified a bucket at the end of regulation.
