What if The lowe kid from honaker last year would have thrown 15 td passes vs maybe TV what would have been said? Quote

If for some way TV would have made the playoffs then so be it. There have been numerous teams in Cumberland and hogo that are playoff level teams that have had to sit at the house because those teams get automatic three bids to playoffs. Why should PH respect a team that has no business being on the same floor as them, because of events that happened that were 5-10 years before these kids were even born? There was no such outcry when PH put up 99 on a winless Honaker team the year after they went to the state semis Quote

I think it depends on how the officiating goes. In the Graham & GC game that crew let the boys play to the extent. In the Union & Central game your shoes squeaked the wrong way and it was a foul. Early on, Dotson was in their ears prompting a lot of early fouls on Union. It was very one sided, then they tried to even it up which put one of the Central girls in foul trouble. I think they called 3 offensive fouls throughout the game on Witt, 2 of which were bad calls and made from officials in front of Dotson, hmmm.... Dotson did give up in the 4th at some point and basically quit coaching. Union was the better overall team. Both teams are young and should battle again next year for the title. Overall, this may be the weakest ladies' M7 (and SWVA in general) I have seen in at least a decade. There are some strong individuals such as Witt and Trivette but the overall starting 5's and depth is down from previous years. What does that say for the SWD when they still got swept in the playoffs. GW looks to own single A on this side of Roanoke. Honaker and Grundy are good but just not at that level of intensity. Not sure anyone else has great odds at a state title this season. I have said for weeks the M7 in girls is as "down" as I have seen it. Having said that, they may still win another state title, because the gap between the M7 and the rest of the state has been as wide as the Mississippi. Abingdon is playing for a 3A Region Championship tonight as well. Quote

Only school getting transfers in swd is graham. And u see how thats going. Quote

They absolutely did. But they're not in an area to get that consistently as its obviously apparent. That's why I just get tired of hearing how M7 is so dominant over swd. Foul trouble & not having big man are their Achilles heal but hopefully they can win at Floyd. Dameron is a piece of work. I’d like to see a rematch and GMen figure out how to win. Quote
