Real Sasquatch Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Final score Central-Woodstock 54 TJ 51 It will either be a battle of the Centrals or a rematch of the 2022 State Title football game Quote
BBHoops_18 Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 I’m not sure I get why Palmer is handling so much of the ball. Like right there at the end of the quarter, surely you want the ball in the hands of Disibbio or Fix too. Real Sasquatch and Comegetsum 2 Quote

I never understood if you are getting a new school why you would build a gym that small. Lebanon's is prob what 30 yrs old and still better than Centrals and Unions Gridiron60 1 Quote
Sixcat Adjacent Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Galax head coach Patrick Puckett is only in his second season as a head coach. Young guy that gets everything out of his kids. Galax starts 3 freshman, a junior and a senior with key contributors off the bench being another freshman and a senior. Only two seniors on the roster. Quote

swvafbrespect Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Fort Chiswell puting a 3 point shooting clinic on! 10 in the first half and at least 6+ overwhelmed PH. Ph shot poorly which dug a hole they couldn't recover from. Quote

I highly doubt any team is gonna riot after a victory. The games been over Quote

Graham-VT Fan Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 3 hours ago, Fairlawncat said: Been saying same thing for years about Baker. One of the better coaches at Any level in the state of Virginia. Todd was a heck of player in his own right at Bluefield High and Bluefield State. He could flat out play. People talk about Grahams athletes in basketball. Thats great, but I dont know if Graham has had a basketball player truly over 6 foot 4 since the year of 1914. I've never seen them with height over the years. That means, you have to get kids to buy into absolute solid defense, and they do that. That is coaching. I've known Todd Baker all my life, we grew up together playing sports against and with each other. We played on many slow pitch softball teams together. We had some darn good travel softball teams back in the day. One of the most competitive and intense people I've ever known. He was a very good all-around athlete. Put a ball in his hands and he could do a lot. So happy to see him having success. Bluefield researcher 1 Quote
Fairlawncat Posted March 7 Report Posted March 7 Fort Chiswell win 87-56? Anyone know how much Owen "Justin" Jackson ended up with. The Jackson (Justin) nickname is a shout out to former First Team Parade All American Justin Jackson who was from Houston, TX and scored a ton of points in High School and later played a year for the Tarheels before declaring. Owen Jackson isn't going to be a parade first team All American, but he's going to have a great shot to end up as Va's all time leading scorer if he doesn't get injured and he's D1. I've seen him twice. Hes unbelievable, and he's the best player in the coverage area right now, even as a sophomore. Sixcat Adjacent 1 Quote

Congrats to the Maroon Tide and good luck in the finals. I think the score stunned everybody. GW was in a full court press and it was a layup drill for Galax. Before GW could take a breath, it was 21-5. Then Galax spread the court in a 4-corners weave and GW really had no answer. Galax forced them to guard the entire half court. Galax cutters ended up with layup after layup. Quote
