I don’t know anything about Christianburg but Honaker, Princeton, Pikeview, & Tazewell are having good seasons. Pikeview actually beat Princeton in another tournament this past weekend. I was a little surprised Tazewell beat Pikeview last night. It came down to the last inning Tazewell walked it off with bases loaded and 2 outs. Pikeview is 3rd in power rankings in WV for AAA. Quote

Out of the WV teams, only Pikeview and Princeton would be competitive in M7/2D. James Monroe would not. Not saying either would win M7 or 2D but Princeton is good with some solid talent. Pikeview is having a pretty stellar start this season. They’ve got some good hitters and really good pitching. I think they had 15Ks / no hitter against Graham. Quote

Compared to VA as a whole it’s nowhere near as advanced. Region D is down as a whole with Lebanon and V High taking a couple of steps back but the M7 is way better than usual Quote

The M7 should AT LEAST take 2 games in first round of region Abingdon- performing as expected Battle- performing as expected Union- performing slightly better than expected Lee- performing far better than expected Wise- performing far worse than expected Ridgeview- Performing better than expected Gate city- Performing worse than expected Quote

The only problem with that is that idk if Lebanon will be the 1 this year. They have the pitching to be but Foy will be an equalizer when they play on Tuesday. Foy shut Richlands down last night so Leb and V High are tied for 1st right now. Tazewell is far worse than expected, Marion has been no hit by Leb and GC so far this season and they beat them last night Quote

This evening we will have 2 games at Graham Middle School. 6th Place Game- James Monroe vs Bluefield at 5pm 4th place Game- Honaker vs Graham at 7pm or immediately following the first game. Tomorrow at Princeton High School Championship game- Tazewell vs Christiansburg at Noon Princeton will be declared the 3rd place winner while Pikeview will receive a DNF. Quote

I don’t know enough about them tbh other than a former Viking, Aistrop, is coaching them now. Could Lee give a VHS or Leb trouble? Quote

The arms they threw against Abingdon wouldn’t have a chance of beating either. But didn’t they also play the bears earlier this week? I’d say their best arm would have thrown against them? Quote
