Apparently that is the standard procedure, but not at Central. When Justin Boggs was booted for Damron. The job posting was listed for maybe a day or two, then he was announced within a few days if my memory serves me correctly. Quote

Under normal and legal circumstances, that would be true, but this is Wise Co. I have no idea if he's really getting the job, but they have a long history of picking the candidate before the job is even available, let alone actually posted. Quote

He definitely won’t last this go around if he’s the guy they hire. Old school coaching is what some kids need these days. Quote

There's an interesting dynamic to think about. Quote
Brs88 Posted April 17 Report Posted April 17 Saunders is definitely the coach wise needs.these kids need to toughen up and he could do it as long as the parents don't complain about everything he does.i can honestly say they would be more disciplined and play to 100%every game woth saunders at the helm Quote
Vol Hater Posted April 17 Report Posted April 17 Let's be really honest with ourselves here for a minute. Nick Saban could come coach at Central and those parents would run him off. Unchained, onewarrior2, Brs88 and 1 other 1 1 2 Quote

onewarrior2 Posted April 18 Report Posted April 18 The AD said they “are going in a different direction.” I call bs as there was a plan in place that led to the decision. Unchained and Gridiron60 2 Quote

So they ran to the school board and got him removed. I'm not certain of anything physical, but those parents would have deserved it. Gridiron60 1 Quote

falconfan1 Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 I agree totally with the comments about being soft. Parents today don't want "little Johnny" to be coached hard. This is part of the problem with our country today. We don't want people (teachers and coaches) to hold kids accountable. Kids are accustomed to instant gratification. I could go on and on. No point in beating a dead horse. Unchained 1 Quote
