Told yall that when his name was rumored in the mix that if yall actually get him, Im taking the bet that Union High has its 1st state title in the next 4 yrs. Hes that good of a coach and people back here in the New River Valley & Roanoke Valley are well aware of it. The noticeable differences in the first 3 games will be on offense with the screen game to supplement the run and far less personal fouls/foolish motion penalties which are a reflection of discipline and focus. Being a 2002 Kelly graduate I find it very intriguing. Considering Central is in similar shape JJ Kelly was when he started in 1999. Welcome back coach! Quote

Packman Posted May 12 Report Posted May 12 Still 2 of the best male athletes in the school are basketball only (Horne & Hayes). Maybe he can get them out for football but I don’t see them risking getting hurt and not being able to play basketball. I wish him luck. Got a lot of work to do. Quote
