Gridiron60 Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 They know what they’re getting with J’Me that’s a plus maybe 👀. I guess that’s better than the October surprise they got last year. Quote
Widespread_Panic Posted April 15 Report Posted April 15 If the rumors were true and Kevin Saunders applied I would have gone that route. When you are in Tazewell's situation without much to lose you have to take some risks. There is some baggage associated with Saunders but he's going to instill discipline and eventually turn the program into a winner. I think he would be worth the headaches. jeffro Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Lost all respect after the Graham-Tazewell 50+ penalty fiasco. And yes Graham had a part in it also but you had to have been there. Tazewell could/should have done better Gridiron60 1 Quote

Tazewell could/should have done better Same brother & Richlands got a taste of it last year in their game although not nearly as bad as that game you mentioned. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen this year. Quote

I’ll doublecheck on FourSeasons for accuracy if I can get it to load later. 2020, 2021 may be off. There really shouldn’t be 2020 due to Covid but Spring 2021, Fall 2021. Fixed the records that weren’t accurate using Four Seasons. Edited April 18 by Gridiron60 Used Four seasons to update record accurately Quote
V-Cats Posted April 17 Report Posted April 17 Any word on when FourSeasons will be back online? Quote

SpillBoss Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 Would have been better off starting with a fresh start all the way around, can’t keep recycling. I think it was an easy button for the decision makers and that’s where it ended up. Wildcat/Chanticleer 1 Quote

Harris only needs to manage 3 wins to improve over last years’ record. My granny could come up with 3 dubs surely he can too. 😂😂😂Imagine if he somehow pulls a 5-5 record regular season. He’ll be golden 😂😂😂. Quote

SpillBoss Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 I wish them all well, my Alma mater and all four of my boys played there all four years. Have to start with the kids and build them as men then work on the program, it can’t be all about football. I do hope it works out, still support my Bulldogs. Real Sasquatch and Fairlawncat 1 1 Quote

That would mean making it to the regional championship , right? Yeah, call me a pessimist but I don’t see that happening this fall. Quote

Yeah, call me a pessimist but I don’t see that happening this fall. Despite being 2-8, Tazewell is losing a lot of senior Talent. What last year's team lacked, was senior leadership, with the exception of 1 or 2. They had good size, decent athleticism. The change in offensive scheme didn't help either. That scheme worked better with Patterson at receiver and the freshman at QB and that change happened later in the season. They have some good kids coming up, may take a couple of years. Time will tell, I suppose. Not sure if Tazewell will be able to go back to Harris' throw first offense. Whittaker is going to be a good qb, but he doesn't have the weapons that Carter Creasy had. If they expect to win a few games, they will have to be more balanced and that line will have to learn how to run-block. Gridiron60 and Wildcat/Chanticleer 2 Quote
