MNT 7 Softball seedings?

Have they been set yet? Always confuses me with abingdon in there. I know wise beat Lee...so is wise the 1 seed? And Lee and battle will play for 2nd and 3rd or wat?

Basically.  I believe the Lee/Battle winner is the 2 and loser the 3.  I assume Union is the 4th seed since they played Battle as a higher seed in the district tourney.  The only other option would be Ridgeview as the 4.  Not sure how all that shakes out.

The announcer on the NFHS said the other night that there would not be a consolation game, but you may be right. If there is one, the winner will be the 2 seed.

That's what Lee has on their Facebook page. That they play the consolation game against Battle Thursday.

The Mtn 7 uses a stupid point system to decide seeds 2 thru 4.  Even though Lee finished 8-4 and Battle finished 6-6, and Lee swept Battle, Battle can still finish ahead of Lee if they beat them in the consolation game

Most districts the district tourney carries more weight than the regular season other than the 1 seed for regional seeding.

Always hated how tournaments are more important than regular season same as college basketball.  Someone like ETSU could go 28-4 and not make the big tournament and a 10-25 team can have a good weekend and make it in

Lee ahead of Wise was a bit of a shocker before the season. Wonder how close it was for GC to catch Wise.

Wise losing a top 3 pitcher in the district and their second best hitter to injury wasn’t helpful
