Gridiron60 Posted July 4 Report Posted July 4 To piggyback off Real Sasquatch as far as Graham in SWD, I would add Jysir Williamson to list of stars. Lucas Nash as kicker should have another great season after nailing 100% of XP & FG attempts. I’m not sure about other teams in SWD and what talent they have returning. Like Graham, I think Richlands lost some to the transfer portal after that coaching shakeup. I’d like to see Lebanon build on their success from last year but it will be tough without Reece. To add to Sasquatch and Gridiron, I’ll add Bradshaw for the G-men, and the QB for Tazewell, Whittaker. Jessee from Lebanon should have a big season. NaderNation Posted July 5 Author Report Posted July 5 I see the younger Palmer brother doing decent in his first year at QB but I see the older brother getting most touches on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively I see Jysir Williamson being the big defensive name to look for in the district. For tazewell, Ty Whittaker will be one of the better QBs in the district this year. With their new/old coaches and getting their old OC/QB coach back, he should have a decent year. On the other side of the ball Jakeim Beavers will be a tough player up front. Looking at Lebanon I see Layne Jessee getting just about all the attention for the Pioneers this season. With his little brother at the helm of the offense this year I expect to see some brother to brother action quite often. For Richlands, upcoming seniors, Landon Absher and Jamie Capshaw will be the names to keep an eye on this season. Capshaw coming off of an ACL tear against the G-Men last year will be an interesting story to see if he is as productive as he was last year for the Tornadoes on both sides of the ball. As for the offensive side of the ball I see the team relying heavy on the All-District WR, Landon Absher. But with the controversial off season for the Blues I guess we will have to wait and see how it will turn out. As for the Bearcats I see them relying even more on RB, Kayden Laws. I could be mistaken but I think that their starting QB was injured in basketball and is looking to return sometime in October. I think stability may be the most important factor now, with location likely the most impactful. Are there any other impactful moves? Quote

Tazewell’s ability to pass plus any transfers make them dangerous, but often around 5-5/6-4 under Harris. I don’t see how Lebanon replaces Reece, but can see Jessee if healthy winning games by ball control with just enough passing support. I don’t know if they have gained any players. Quote

Another sleeper for Lebanon is the Taylor kid. With all the attention on Jessee, Taylor can easily have a big game if not handled. Elite speed for his size, biggest weakness is having below average hands so it gives them another option in the backfield if they choose to put Jessee in the slot tornado99 1 Quote

I hope you’re right I really do but I can’t see where they get that many wins. This is the weakest senior class they’ve had in years and in Harris first tenure he had much more talent.
