It still goes completely over your head that anytime you reach 2A status of more than 475 students that it is much more easy to make a competitive team to challenge bigger schools than it is for a school who is at less than 200 to get the athletes to make a competitive team to play larger teams.

Size wise, we played 2 2A schools in the regular season and beat them both. We beat 2A River View senseless in the Twin Valley jamboree. We beat 2A Wise Central in a scrimmage on their field. We held Abingdon scoreless in a 7 on 7 scrimmage at Honaker in the preseason. Where did Union play a single game against a school in a higher classification than them. The fact that you would even post to this thread is beyond belief.

It's OK, the panda bears will get theirs from Appomattox tomorrow. Yeah, it's definitely harder to compete with schools who can have up to almost 300 more students than you do since 1A ends at 475 students. When you are 2A, you have significantly more student athletes to choose from to make a competitive team to go against a team bigger than you are.

Not at all, we have 176 students. Graham has significantly more. Every school we played this year had far more than our enrollment, so don't feed me that bs.

Now that Richlands spanked that GMan bottom really nicely, UVAObserver, GMan, and all the other GMen fanboys can get to what really matters the most in their hearts, and as we all know, that is focusing on 1A Hurley's schedule. If only the GMen would have played a tougher schedule like the Alabama Crimson Tide, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, etc., they might have been prepared for this defeat tonight. Anyway, now GMen posters everywhere can get back to what matters most to them and refocus their full attention on our schedule.

I hope it is true that Burton has an opening. That's not a really long drive either, and they usually have a decent team. I might also get to see a former classmate from UVA-Wise on the away game.

I reread some of the other posts in this thread and saw where you mentioned my name. Would you care to tell who your team is and maybe we can get a game scheduled with them? Thevols, have Mark to check on J.I. Burton. I think there may be a lead on them needing a game.

It appears that 2A River View has backed out of the contract after Hurley spanked them badly at the Twin Valley jamboree. That's a shame, but I am really glad that Hurley has picked up Tazewell. If anyone knows of any other available teams during the weeks of 1, 4, and 6, please let thevols know. I think someone may have mentioned something about J.I. Burton. That may be another lead to follow to fill the schedule. I'd really not like to play the same team multiple times in the same year if it can be avoided.

You should have your powerhouse anonymous team (Appomattox, Lord Botetourt, powerhouse eastern VA team, which one was your team the other night, Dickless? to call either of the 3 AD numbers that he posted for a game on one of the current open dates.

You dodge that question time and time again. If you can't answer his question as to which teams are available for week1, 4, or 6, you, Irish-Fan18, and UVAObserver need to find your own team threads and take care of you own damn business.
